Paul Adom Otchere has become a defender of corruption – Attuh

A member of the National Communication team of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Stephen Kwabena Attuh has described journalist Paul Adom Otchere as defender of corruption.

According to the development communication expert, since Mr. Adom Otchere “was busted in the Kotoka Christmas Tree (Paultree) saga, his practice of journalism has not been the same”.

“He’s become a defender of corruption since he benefited from its benevolence.” – Mr. Attuh said

His comments is coming on the wake of Mr. Adom Otchere’s pronouncements on his Good Evening Ghana Metro TV programme which sought cast doubts on Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa’s revelations that the National Cathedral Board Secretary, Rev. Kusi-Boateng is engaged in an alleged identity fraud.

The Ghana Airport company Board Chairman took to his show to pray that the allegations leveled against the preacher is not true whiles he dedicated the entire show to explain why Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng has two different legal names.

Mr. Adom Otchere maintain that Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng got his father killed in Kumasi during the revolution era under late President Rawlings and for the fear of the young Victor Kusi-Boateng becoming a victims of what the father suffered changed his name to Kwabena Adu Gyamfi for which the Adu Gyamfi is his mother’s surname.

The continued that Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng reverted to his original name when he became a pastor.

However, Mr. Adom Otchere has failed to explain why the preacher is using his two names concurrently on his legal docuemtns with different date of birth.

The journalist and strong defender of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia led government has also failed to explain the circumstances in which preacher is seating on the National Cathedral Board as its Secretary with the name Rev. Victor Kusi-Boateng and at the same time incorporated a company with the name JNT Telent Centre Ltd with the name Kwabena Adu Gyamfi and used the company to take an amount of GHC2.6million from the National Cathedral for no work done as the North Tongu MP is alleging.
