Passengers severely injured in accident on Sawla-Damongo road

A yellow mini Samyong bus had an accident between Kananto and d Larabanga on the Sawla to Damongo road from a tyre burst.
The Samyong minibus loaded passengers from Sawla and on its way to Damongo had a tyre burst in between Kenanto and Laribanga with many people injured.
Three of the passengers sustained severe injuries. One of the injured, a Bole Senior High final year student- Abigail had the skin on her left hand peeled off, a man and a Fulani woman also had their heads badly wounded.
Samed Abdul Rahman from Daboya who was also part of the accident but not injured Samed Abdul Rahman spoke to Bole based Nkilgi FM at the accident scene and said the driver was speeding and so when tyre burst, he couldn’t control the bus.
He pleaded on drivers to limit their speed whenever they are embarking on journeys.
