Parliament will reconvene on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, after a break. Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin announced the date in line with Order 58 of Parliament’s Standing Orders.
This rule ensures all Members of Parliament (MPs) receive formal notice ahead of sittings.
The meeting marks the start of the Second Meeting of the First Session of the Ninth Parliament. MPs are expected to return and tackle key national issues, pass legislation, and review committee reports.
This session gives lawmakers a fresh opportunity to address public concerns and advance parliamentary business.
