Before the much-awaited Oti Region out of the Volta Region is declared, its music award scheme has been established.
Best Multimedia (BM) and Narayana Foundation (NF) have opened nomination for the 2018 edition of the Oti Music Awards which is originally scheduled to take place on December 25, 2018 at the Nkwanta Kilimanjaro Hotel.
Nevaloose Ent record label Artist, Bush K won the 2017 edition of the Oti Music Awards which was known as the Northern Volta Music Awards.
According to the organizers, the Northern Volta Music Awards was changed to the Oti Music Awards to support government’s initiative of creating a new region – Oti.
The stated that rebranding of the annual awards is bent on capturing the attention of the people within the new proposed Oti region to support the awards scheme.
The awards Scheme covers Seven (7) districts such as; Nkwanta South, Nkwanta North, Krachi East, Krachi West, Krachi Nchumuru, Kadjebi, and Jasikan Districts.
“We therefore, appeal to all Artistes to take advantage of the awards scheme and file for nomination and also participate in its activities. Below are the categories for Oti awards 2018”.
Artistes within the proposed Oti Region are expected to file for nomination by submitting their works to BM’s Whatsapp line or call 0509068259/0545722759.
