The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has invited Paul Adom-Otchere, the former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), for questioning as part of a corruption probe into a revenue assurance audit contract.
The investigation focuses on a deal between GACL and a private company, with the OSP suspecting irregularities in how airport revenues were managed and accounted for under the contract.
In a letter dated July 25, 2025, the OSP officially named Mr. Adom-Otchere as a suspect in connection with alleged corruption and related offenses tied to the agreement. He was instructed to appear before investigators on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the OSP’s South Ridge office.
Mr. Adom-Otchere, a well-known media personality, confirmed receiving the invitation and disclosed that his legal team has requested a new appearance date, Monday, August 4, due to court commitments in Kumasi.
Expressing his surprise, he questioned why he, as a former board chair, was being singled out when key decisions related to the deal were taken by GACL’s management, who remain available to assist with the investigation.
