Nana Opoku Ware, son of the Asantehene and current SRC President of the Ghana School of Law, has donated GH¢50,000 to the Student Financial Aid Scheme to support financially challenged law students.
The generous contribution is aimed at easing the burden on needy but brilliant students pursuing legal education, many of whom struggle to meet tuition and related academic expenses.
Sources within the School indicate that the donation has already been earmarked to assist students facing serious financial constraints, reinforcing Nana Opoku Ware’s commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.
This is not the first time he has extended a helping hand to students. In 2024, Nana Opoku Ware reportedly paid the fees of 27 needy students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), including the settlement of outstanding arrears for some beneficiaries.
Observers say his consistent support for education reflects a strong sense of leadership and social responsibility, particularly toward empowering young people through access to quality education.
His latest gesture has been widely commended by students and stakeholders, who describe it as timely and impactful.
