Broadcast journalist Okatakyie Afrifa has opened up about his recent arrest by the Cyber Crime Unit over allegations of blackmail.
His ex-girlfriend, Anne Sansa Daly, accused him of possessing her nude photos and threatening to release them online.
Afrifa, however, strongly denied the claims, asserting that Daly edited their old conversations to frame him.
“She reported that I have her nudes and am blackmailing her. I told them to show evidence, but they came to my house, seized items, and said they would investigate,” he explained.
He believes the arrest was politically motivated, rather than purely about the allegations.
Okatakyie Afrifa hinted at a larger agenda, urging Daly to be cautious, as he claims authorities have a dossier on her.
The broadcaster remains firm in his innocence and has called for the truth to prevail as investigations continue.
The case has sparked widespread attention, with many questioning the motives behind his arrest.
