Ofori-Atta has plunged Ghana’s economy into a self-inflicted debt crisis – Sammy Gyamfi

The National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, has claimed that Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta mismanaged Ghana’s economy to the point of a self-inflicted debt crisis.

He accused the Finance Minister of putting the country in a self-inflicted debt crisis, complete with hyperinflation, high unemployment, unbearable lending rates, and excruciating hardships.

Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi, in response to Ken Ofori-Atta’s 2024 budget presentation, wrote on X, “After mismanaging Ghana’s economy and plunging the country into a self-inflicted debt crises with hyperinflation, high unemployment, unbearable lending rates, and excruciating hardships, the failed Finance Minister decided to compel civil servants to abandon their posts during working hours to salute and cheer him up after presenting a hopeless budget to the Parliament of Ghana.”

“What an insult to the sensibilities of suffering Ghanaians! This is how low we have sunk as a country; total leadership paralysis,” he added.
