A nursing student undertaking her clinical attachment at Abura Dunkwa Hospital in the Central region has been attacked.

The student nurse(name withheld) was attacked whilst returning from work after the afternoon shift.
She was reportedly robbed and beaten mercilessly leading to her sustaining injuries on her head and fingers.
Thankfully the culprits have been arrested and sentenced to 4-years imprisonment
Last week, a 37-year-old nurse Ruth Ama Eshun was allegedly killed by unknown assailants in the Ashanti region.
Ruth Eshun a nurse at the Sewua Health Centre was returning from work when the incident happened.
