The National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) has convened a stakeholder engagement in Accra to promote dialogue and partnerships aimed at advancing healthcare, education, and economic development in Ghana.
The engagement, held at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel on February 25, brought together key stakeholders from the healthcare, diplomatic, aviation, and tourism sectors to deliberate on issues critical to national development.
Dr. Prinston Jean-Glaude, Chief Executive Officer of Primary Medical Care Centers in Miami, Miramar, Lauderdale Lakes, and Pompano Beach in the United States of America, attended the event as Special Guest.
H.E. Alhaji Samuel Sidique Sam-Sumana, former Vice President of Sierra Leone, delivered the keynote address as Guest Speaker, sharing insights on leadership, governance, and regional cooperation in advancing development across West Africa.
Other speakers included the Country Director of Qatar Airways, the Ambassador of Peru to Ghana, and the ECOWAS Vice President in charge of Tourism, among other distinguished personalities.
The stakeholders discussed opportunities for collaboration to improve healthcare delivery, strengthen educational systems, and promote economic growth through partnerships and knowledge exchange.
The engagement also provided an opportunity for students and stakeholders to interact and explore innovative solutions to national and regional development challenges.
The National Union of Ghana Students reaffirmed its commitment to fostering partnerships, promoting dialogue, and supporting initiatives that contribute to the development and empowerment of Ghanaian students and the nation at large.
