NPP Organizer hot; caught attempting to sell party’s motorbikes

Mr. Ato Benyah, the Constituency Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Gomoa Central in the Central Region has allegedly been caught attempting to sell two motorbikes belonging to the Constituency  Office.

According to information available to Awake News, the two motorbikes went missing for some days but were mysteriously found displayed for sale at a mechanic’s shop prompting the Constituency Chairman, Mr. Omar to order the motor repairer to stop selling them and that “the said ” bike belongs to Gomoa Central NPP.

Upon interrogation, it has revealed the the bikes were sent to the mechanic by the Constituency Organizer, Ato Benyah to be sold.

It has also alleged that Mr. Benyah has threaten to deal with the informant.

However, in an interview with Awake News, Mr. Ato Benyah has denied the allegation of stealing the party’s motorbikes to sell, insisting the bikes are his personally property given to him by their Member of Parliament, Hon. Naana Ayiah. He maintain that those alleging that the bikes belong to the party do not know what they are talking about.

Awake News’ attempt to confirm from the MP as to whether she donated those bikes to Mr. Benyah has proven abortive as she has not answered our calls or whats-app messages.

The Constituency leadership has since insisted those bikes belong to the constituency and not Mr. Ato Benyah.
