The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced it will open nominations on July 29, 2025, for members interested in contesting the party’s 2028 presidential primaries.
The announcement was made by the party’s National Organiser, Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), during an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen.
He explained that the move complies with the party’s constitutional requirement to give at least six months’ notice before holding primaries. The presidential primaries are scheduled for January 31, 2026.
