The national leadership of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), led by the General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua and the National Organizer, Henry Nana Boakye, paid a courtesy call to extend their warmest congratulations to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on his decisive victory in the recent presidential primaries.

During the visit, the team reaffirmed their unwavering support for Dr. Bawumia and pledged to work tirelessly to ensure his victory in the next presidential election.

Dr. Bawumia expressed gratitude for the support and assured the party of his commitment to leading the NPP to victory and serving Ghana with dedication and integrity.

The former vice president was among four other contenders seeking the endorsement of 211,849 delegates in the closely watched primary election in January.

Dr. Bawumia was declared the winner with 110,643 votes, representing 56.5 percent of the total valid votes cast.
