The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has no plans to release its full internal report on the 2024 general election, according to party stalwart and MP for Ofoase Ayirebi, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah.
In an interview on Channel One TV, the former Information Minister explained that the contents of the report include sensitive internal strategies and “trade secrets” that are not meant for public consumption.
“Political parties don’t publish such reports. It’s not done here or anywhere else,” he said.
“It contains sensitive information. That’s why we’re not making it public.”
Instead, he noted that a summary version has already been released to guide internal reforms and strategic adjustments.
“We believe the summary captures the essence of the full report. It has informed changes we’re making within the party,” he added.
Oppong Nkrumah dismissed criticism suggesting the NPP has failed to reflect on its 2024 electoral loss.
“It is not true that we have not done serious introspection,” he emphasized, defending the party’s post-election review process.
