In a move to seek divine intervention for the country’s progress, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has taken Ghana to the Atwea Mountains, a sacred site for Christian pilgrimage in the Ashanti Region.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, led the initiative, which aims to bring together Ghanaians from all walks of life to pray for the country’s progress.

Dr. Amoakohene’s visit to the site was marked by a series of meetings with local stakeholders, including church leaders, community members, and forestry officials.

The meetings aimed to resolve a long-standing dispute over the management of the facility, demonstrating the NDC government’s commitment to promoting peace and development in the region.
