MTN Ghana has messaged that there will be a planned momo system upgrade starting from 12:00 am to 6:30 am on Sunday, February 15, 2026. This technical exercise will cause a temporary stop to all services on the MoMo platform during that time.
The company explained that the upgrade is necessary to improve the way they deliver services to their customers. During the six-and-a-half-hour period, users will not be able to send money, pay bills, or perform any other transactions using the MoMo platform.
MTN has offered a sincere apology for any trouble this might cause and encourages all customers to take note of the time. This move is part of the company’s efforts to make its digital financial services better and more reliable for everyone.
Normal service is expected to return immediately after the work is finished at 6:30 am on Sunday morning.
