It appears the sinking image of the opposition New Patriotic Party – NPP is not resurrecting any moment soon as pollster, Mussa Dankwah hints of his latest polls showing a significant slip of two regions from the NPP.
In a Facebook post, the Executive Director of the Global InfoAnalytics said, “Eastern and North East regions slipping away from NPP as Mahama approval rating hit the roof. More soon!!”.
Although he is yet to release the results of the said survey, it is worth noting that his polls in the lead-up to the 2024 general elections closely reflect the results of December 2024.
On November 29, 2024, survey reports released by the Global InfoAnalytics predicted a clear victory for John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flagbearer, in the 2024 presidential elections.
According to their polls, John Mahama was expected to secure 52.2% of the vote, edging out Dr Mahamudu Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), who is projected to receive 41.4%.
At the end of the polls on December 7, 2024, John Mahama won 56.3 percent of the vote against 41.3 percent for Bawumia.
