Given Meta’s expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) and modern technologies and the popularity of Meta’s Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp in Ghana, the Minister explored opportunities for cooperation in these fields, similar to Meta’s collaborations with other countries.

The Minister’s emphasis on creating a digitally inclusive economy and promoting youth participation in the digital sector was also a key discussion point.

As Ghana seeks to accelerate its digital transformation and bridge the digital gap, the Minister’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for the growth of the digital sector makes partnerships with tech giants like Meta essential.
