The Message of Hope and Lessons Towards Positive Transformation

Divine Amaglo picThe steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

I will, first of all, thank God for our lives and also congratulate you for triumphantly entering into the new year. It is not our might but the abundant grace and mercy of our Maker.

I will also acknowledge various religious groups, spiritual leaders, and other leaders both political and apolitical for their tremendous transformation of the youth of Central Tongu constituency, other constituencies, our dear nation Ghana and the world as universal. I cannot forget to mention some few names if not all as contributors to the great transformation of youth. I will like to appreciate and commend Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa, Hon. Alex Gabby Hottordze, Hon. Emmanuel Kwesi Bedzrah, Hon. Governs Kwame Agbodza, Hon. George Loh, Hon Dzifa Attivor, Mr. Confidence E. Abotsi, Mr. Brogya Gyemfi, Hon. George Opare Addo, Mr. Wonder Madilo, Mr John Dumelo, Mr. Egypt Kudoto and many others for building the youth in their respective diversities of life.

We need to embrace the New Year with not just new looks but also with a new and positive approach to making things simple in the years ahead. Let us begin a new chapter by burying the unpleasant memories of the past and making way for better ones to come in the future.

We must look forward to the New Year with hope and confidence and we are sure to be blessed with great things despite the difficulties generated by unfaithful and wicked nature of leadership.
Tough times do not last and the arrival of a fresh year at the end of December is a testimony to this fact. Even our tough phase will not last forever so never abandon hope and lose our confidence.

We will rise like the phoenix from the ashes each time evil tries to defeat us.
We should take the New Year as another chance of undoing the errors committed in the past and leave behind our woes to start afresh with new confidence and new aspirations of this New Year!
New Year has brought with it loads of opportunities to become the human being we have always wanted to be.

Tomorrow’s foundation is laid on things that we do today. So let us make our present count by indulging in meaningful actions.
Nothing in the year gone by can be called bad as even the unpleasant incidents have given us a lesson and added to our experience.
We cannot build a brighter tomorrow without coming out from the ruins of the past.
Hope we are blessed with the sunshine of laughter, the new beam of energy and raindrops of happiness as we step into another brand New year.

As a youth, let us not be used by politicians and self-centered people for vigilantism and hooliganism like what we have seen in immediate past year. Let truthfulness and commitments be our hallmark as a youth. Love, generosity and unity should replace hatred, greed and disunity among us.

Let us make every moment worth remembering so that when we grow old and look back we can enjoy it the second time.

Happy New Year 2018!

Thank you.
