Man United hold Pogba talks; Bayern Munich join Salah race

Manchester United have expressed interest in bringing back midfielder Paul Pogba on a free transfer, with initial discussions already taking place.

Meanwhile, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is reportedly weighing up a departure this summer after receiving a lucrative contract offer from Saudi Arabia.

Chelsea are exploring the possibility of re-signing their former academy graduate, Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi, with the player open to a return.

In midfield, Barcelona have offered Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Manchester United the chance to sign Frenkie de Jong this summer.

However, Real Madrid have no intention of selling Aurelien Tchouameni despite Chelsea’s reported interest.

Juventus have significantly lowered their asking price for striker Dusan Vlahovic to €30m (£24.9m), attracting strong interest from Barcelona. Chelsea have also entered the race alongside Barcelona for Liverpool winger Luis Diaz.

Bayern Munich are prepared to battle Saudi Arabian clubs for Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah, with the Bundesliga side hoping the lure of competing for top trophies gives them an edge.

However, Liverpool are confident of keeping both Salah and Virgil van Dijk, with the Dutch defender expected to sign a two-year extension, potentially making him the highest-paid centre-back in Europe. On the other hand, Trent Alexander-Arnold is expected to leave.

Tottenham are open to selling winger Manor Solomon for around £15m, with Leeds United eager to make his loan move permanent if they secure promotion to the Premier League.

West Ham are considering a loan move for Real Madrid’s young forward Endrick and have also set their sights on Southampton defender Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

Elsewhere, Arsenal and Tottenham have held talks with highly-rated 20-year-old Corinthians midfielder Breno Bidon.

Crystal Palace are keen on signing Liverpool youngsters Lewis Koumas and Ben Doak once their Championship loan spells conclude. They are also monitoring Midtjylland’s 20-year-old forward Franculino, with Aston Villa, Newcastle, and Leicester also keeping tabs.
