Former ECG Managing Director Samuel Dubik Mahama has rejected claims made in an investigative report on the alleged disappearance of ECG containers.

He insists he was never contacted for his side of the story, despite being named in the report.
Speaking on the Asaase Breakfast Show, Mahama expressed frustration at the lack of fairness.
“I was never called and asked my opinion about this report,” he stated.
He questioned the report’s accuracy, pointing out that the containers were reportedly at the Tema Port, a security zone managed by multiple agencies and not solely under ECG’s control.
“If the containers were in ECG’s full custody, then you can throw whatever stones you want. But they weren’t,” he emphasized.
Mahama also raised concerns over the report’s failure to consider possible legal issues, including ongoing litigation and the unresolved PDS arbitration case.
He called for a more thorough and balanced investigation into ECG’s operations, stressing that all relevant facts and parties must be considered.
