Mahama begins Thank You Tour in Western North July 15

President John Dramani Mahama will begin his nationwide “Thank You” tour in the Western North Region on Monday, July 15, 2025, following his electoral victory in December 2024.

A grand durbar will be held at Juaboso, where the President is expected to address traditional leaders, district officials, and party supporters.

According to a statement signed by George Ofori Danquah, Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), all constituency executives have been instructed to work closely with their Members of Parliament (MPs) and Municipal and District Chief Executives (MDCEs) to ensure strong mobilisation for the event.

The NDC secured eight out of nine parliamentary seats in the region during the last election, making it one of the party’s strongholds.

The tour is part of Mahama’s effort to thank Ghanaians for their support and reaffirm his administration’s commitment to delivering on its promises.
