Mabel Aggrey Brings Hope To The Rejected Through Music

Ghanaian Gospel musician, Mabel Aggrey has revealed, her music is to inspire and bring hope to the lost and rejected souls.

Formerly known as Sister Akos before getting married to Apostle Benjamin Aggrey, the now Osofo Maame Mabel started singing at a very tender age.

Growing up was not bed of roses for the singer who never had any help coming from anyone or her parents. Sadly, her dad neither took responsibility for her up keep nor her education.

[ads1]While going through all these difficult moments, Mabel Aggrey did not give up on her singing ministry, instead, she joined her church’s choir which presented more opportunities to improve upon her vocal skills.

Just after completing her basic education, Mabel moved to live with her mother in Nkoranza in the Brong Ahafo region because her father refused to assist further her education.

Through all these struggles, Mabel encouraged herself and started singing solo in churches, weddings and at funeral ceremonies.

Gracefully, she composed her first single titled ‘Obi Ntumi Nhwe Wo’ which eventually ushered her fully into doing music and she became a sought-after singer for churches. This was the turning point for Mabel Aggrey.

Osofo Maame Mabel, through the grace of God, hard work, consistency and persistently, has one album to her credit with more tracks still loading.

Speaking in an interview with www.fnnewsonline.com, Mabel Aggrey revealed she will use her music ministry to inspire, encourage the lost and rejected in our societies.

She acknowledged that growing up she took inspirations from Yaw Sarpong and Hanna Marfo and could listen to their songs every day. Her heart is filled with compassion for the lost and rejected souls in the societies, hence, her decision to use her music bring them some hope.

To her fans and followers of her music, Mabel says they should put their trust in the Lord and expect more great songs from her.

She is happily married to Apostle Benjamin Aggrey and they are blessed with five beautiful children.
