Leicester City owner killed in a plane clash

5508d5f8 1d3e 4217 ab7a 63ea51b084f5Leicester City Football Club has confirmed that Chairman, Mr. Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha has been killed in a helicopter crash Saturday evening, outside the King Power Stadium.

The Thai businessman Mr Srivaddhanaprabha, was one of five people [ads1]on board the helicopter when it went down after taking off from the pitch following Leicester’s 1-1 draw against West Ham.

In a statement released by the club this Sunday evening, the identities of the other four members on board before the crash are not known. However, speculations are that among the four others includes the daughter of the club owner.

“A book of condolence, which will be shared with the Srivaddhanaprabha family, will be opened at King Power Stadium from 8am on Tuesday, October 30 for supporters wishing to pay their respects.

“Supporters unable to visit King Power Stadium that wish to leave a message can do so through an online book of condolence, which will be made available via lcfc.com in due course.” (Contained in the statement)

The Thai businessman bought the club in 2010 and has always flown to the King Power Stadium from London, to watch Leicester City’s home games.
