Martin Kpebu, a legal practitioner said Ghana may not be able to have Sedina Tamakloe extradited due to the nature of the country's prisons

Lawyer Martin Kpebu has reportedly been released from the custody of the Office of Special Prosecutor after being detained at the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) following his arrest.

According to reports, the Legal Practitioner was arrested after honoring an invitation by the OSP. He is alleged to have obstructed an OSP officer, which led to his arrest.

The strong critic of the Special Prosecutor, Kissi Agyabeng, was then said to have been granted bail, which required him to provide documents showing a landed property in his name and one surety. His lawyers obtained the documents, only to return and find that he had been whisked away to an unknown location.

Lawyer Kpebu has been calling for the immediate resignation of Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng, accusing him of failing in his duties in relation to the high-profile case involving former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
