The donation, made on Wednesday afternoon, comprised 5,000 tables and 5,000 chairs, aimed at addressing the long-standing shortage of desks and seating in the schools.
The beneficiary institutions according to the MP in a Facebook post are Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion Senior High School, Moree Senior High School, Asuantsi Technical Institute, Abakrampa Senior High School, and Aburaman Senior High School.
Mr. Kyakye Ofosu, revealed that the intervention has virtually eliminated the acute deficit of chairs and tables, a challenge that had negatively affected classroom activities in the schools. He noted that the provision of adequate furniture will significantly enhance effective teaching and learning across the institutions.
