Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) has appointed former Volta Chairman of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Mr. Anthony Bells Kafui Kanyi, as the Head of its Communications and Media Committee.
The appointment forms part of the Association’s efforts to strengthen its communication strategy and enhance media engagement to promote football development within the region.

Mr. Kanyi, a seasoned media practitioner with extensive experience in journalism and public communication, is expected to lead the committee in shaping the Association’s public relations, media visibility, and stakeholder communication framework.
He will work alongside a team of dedicated members including Eric Eli Adzie, Sandocal Akpablie, Mohammed Zain Abidina, Gideon Husuanyi Mawudor, Geoffrey Gah-Mensah, Shaibu Fuseini, Tilda Acorlor, Amadu Hamidu, Pearl Agyeibea, Randy Edudzi Ahadzi, Ruben Dzidodo Adzaho, and Adavu James Mawuli.
The newly constituted committee is tasked with improving information dissemination, strengthening media relations, and supporting the VRFA’s broader agenda of promoting football activities and talent development across the Volta Region.
Stakeholders and well-wishers have since congratulated the appointees, expressing optimism that their collective expertise will contribute significantly to the growth and visibility of football in the region.
