Ghana’s most influential actor, John Dumelo, has donated brand new water pump to Alavanyo Senior High Technical School in the Hohoe Municipal Assembly in the Volta Region.
[ads1]The donation is in the fulfilment of a promise made by the actor to the school when he was informed about the broken down of the only borehole water pump of the school some weeks back, forcing students to walk several kilometers to fetch water to bath and to wash.
Receiving the item on behalf of the school, Mr. Yram Gadotor expressed his profound graduate to the actor delivering on his promise and the swift response to their call.
Mr Dumelo on his part said water is life and one the basic needs of humanity adding that “I’m glad to put the smiles back on the faces of the students in this school”.
The philanthropist through his foundation has over the years provided educational support to some number of brilliant but needed students across the country and other parts of Africa.
A couple of weeks ago, he has donated medical consumables to three (3) health facilities in the Likpe areas worth thousands of Ghana cedis.
