Joana Gyan launches Amenfi Central Women in Agriculture initiative

The Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central Constituency, Joana Gyan Cudjoe has announced the  Amenfi Central Women in Agriculture initiative targeted at empowering women in her constituency in the Western Region.

In a Facebook post, the Golden Empire Legacy founder said “Proud to share the progress of our Amenfi Central Women in Agriculture initiative. What started as a vision is now blossoming — literally!”

According to the lawmaker, “These dedicated women are leading the way in sustainable farming, putting in the work every day to grow food, build livelihoods, and inspire a generation.”

“As the MP for Amenfi Central, I remain committed to supporting women in agribusiness and scaling this success across more communities.” He said.

“This is what empowerment looks like. This is Amenfi Central Women in Agriculture” she emphasized

Mrs Joana Gyan Cudjoe, whose Primaries election was catharized by several legal battles within the NDC and with the Electoral Commission of Ghana became victorious at the December 7, 2024 polls.

In the 2024 general election, she defeated the NPP candidate, Dr Albert Wiredu Arkoh by pulling 26,345 of the total votes whilst Arkoh had 12,096.
