The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Election 2024 campaign chairperson for Amenfi Central Constituency, Madam Joana Gyan donated items worth GH₵60,000 to the Muslim community in the area to celebrate Eid ul-Adha.
Madam Joana Gyan asked the Muslim community to continue to pray for the development of Amenfi Central while assuring them of her continuous support.
The items she donated included Rice, Oil and assorted products.
Wishing a happy Eid Mubarak to all the Imams and every Muslim in the constituency, she emphasized the importance of development in Amenfi Central, hence the need for the constituency to back a candidate who is development-oriented in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary election.
The parliamentary candidate took time to reecho the promise by the NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama to incorporate the Muslim community’s recommendations into his 2024 ‘Peoples Manifesto’, emphasizing Mahama’s dedication to diversity and inclusivity in governance.
Joana Gyan who doubles as the National Coordinator for NDC Women and parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central donated an amount of GH₵20,000 to the Achichire community during the Wassa Achichire Festival to support the community in building a Community Durbar Center.
“With the level of commitment to our community, we appreciate Madam Joana a lot and wish her the very best as she journeys to become a parliamentarian this year,” the chief said.
