I’m prepared to listen and work with you – Nugblega tells Akatsi South NDC Delegates

A parliamentary aspirant of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Akatsi South Constituency, Mr. Samuel B.K. Nugblega, says he is prepared to work with the delegates of the opposition National Democratic Congress in the Akatsi South by listening to the masses if allowed to lead the party into the crucial 2024 General election.

Mr. Nugblega who said he has the political will of leading the Akatsi South branch of the opposition National Democratic Congress made this known in an interaction with the media.

“I, therefore, offer myself to the Akatsi South NDC as the best aspirant to turn the fortunes of our esteemed party and our well-endowed constituency around. In this regard, and with a deep sense of humility and profound respect, I urge the party’s delegates not to consider picking its parliamentary candidate based on the usual considerations, which have spectacularly failed our constituency in the past. The mood of the teeming youths, and indeed every member of our party, whom we need to put first going into the May 13th parliamentary primary election, is not happy with the way our party is being handled, hence the increase in the parliamentary and presidential votes of the Npp every election year, he stated.

“I’m convinced that the time has come to seriously challenge and dislodge those politicians who have held our party and hence our dear constituency to ransom by kidnapping, hijacking, and destroying the future of our younger generation and generations yet unborn.

“I wish to place on record my firm promise and commitment to work for the better development we have been deprived of”, he added.

Mr. Jonathan Dorkenoo, a Branch Chairman of the party in the Akatsi South Constituency, while intimating Mr. Samuel B.K. Nugblega of his intention to contest for the parliamentary ticket of the party said he was coming on board with his wealth of experience as an industrialist, an entrepreneur, and an educationist par excellence. “So he is coming to lay the foundation for development and proper unity in our party to create a level playing field where every child born in every part of the Akatsi South constituency will enjoy a sense of belongingness.

He also appealed to the delegates of the party in the Constituency to give Mr. Samuel B.K Nugblega a chance to lead the NDC to a resounding victory.
