The Deputy Minister of Interior and Chairman on the parliamentary select committee on defence and Security, Major Derek Oduro in trouble as Captain Smart wants him Sacked.
According to Captain Smart, when the New Patriotic Party NPP was in opposition, this man told him on Adom TV that the then ruling National Democratic Congress cannot provide ordinary shoes and boots for the Police and Soldiers.
The outspoken journalist hinted that he will “send that video to Akufo-Addo tomorrow and ask him what have changed.”.
“Because ever since the NPP assume power, the Police is still crying for Boots”.
Adding that, “even their ammunitions are tightened with rubbers which is bad”.
He daringly stated that if Akufo-Addo could stand In front of him and defend why the Police is not been catered for, then he will tell him to sack Major Boakye Gyan from the Defence Ministry simply because he was been mischievous during John Dramani Mahama’s time but could not change anything when NPP came into power with him as a VIP in the Defence Ministry.
