I’ll always be mindful of your needs – Ato Forson assures Ghanaians

Finance Minister Cassiel Ato Forson has reassured Ghanaians that he will stay attuned to their needs following a visit to the Makola Market.

During the visit, he engaged with market women to understand the impact of the economy on their businesses.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to crafting policies and programs that truly represent the people’s interests.

Ato Forson promised continued engagement with citizens, stating, “We are here to serve you!” Ahead of presenting the first budget of the John Dramani Mahama administration on March 11, 2025, Ghanaians are hopeful that there will be no new taxes and that certain nuisance taxes, such as the e-levy and COVID-19 tax, will be removed as pledged.
