Independent presidential candidate Matthew Asante has promised to transform Ghana if elected president in 2024.
He has urged Ghanaians to vote for him in large numbers in order to help Ghana leave the African Union and join the European Union for greater development.
Mr. Asante told the media during his campaign launch in Kasoa, Central Region, that he would use his vast experience as a business mogul to position the country as a business hub.
He also stated that he will create more revenue streams to help Ghanaians because the NPP and NDC have nothing to offer Ghanaians.
According to him, Ghana is endowed with numerous mineral resources, but grand scheme corruption, selfishness, and nepotism in the previous government have rendered the country a shithole.
He noted that, under his leadership, he will turn the fortunes of Ghana and develop the country like Europe, thus prioritizing industrialization to transform Ghana.
“With my experience as a businessman in Europe, I will confidently transform the country with jobs for the youth. I will run Ghana like my own business until an unprecedented transformation is achieved to benefit all Ghanaians,” he assured.
He added that the NPP and NDC cannot develop Ghana because they have indeed raped Ghana’s economy, birthing the country with untold hardships.
He said he will first use his experience gathered in Italy (Europe) to deal with pressing issues in the country and develop Ghana.
He urged all discerning Ghanaians, both home and abroad, to really support him as an independent presidential candidate to surmount the current economic challenges.
