Thomas Dodzi Tsoekeku, Dome-Kwabenya NDC Constituency Secretary

The Constituency Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Dome-Kwabenya, Mr. Thomas Dodzi Tsoekeku, has strongly denied allegations that he is misappropriating employment and recruitment opportunities meant for party members in the constituency.

In an official statement dated December 18, 2025, Mr. Tsoekeku described the claims circulating among party faithful as false, malicious, and misleading, insisting that he has never received or withheld any recruitment or employment slots on behalf of the constituency.

According to him, rumors suggest that the NDC’s National Organiser, Joseph Yammin, had allegedly informed some individuals that constituencies, including Dome-Kwabenya, routinely receive employment and recruitment allocations through their Constituency Secretaries. Mr. Tsoekeku, however, refuted this claim.

“As of today, apart from four scholarship opportunities that were specifically lobbied for by Greater Accra Regional Chairmen and Secretaries, I have never received any recruitment or employment slots from any individual or authority,” the statement said.

He explained that even in the case of the four scholarships, the application process was duly routed through the Constituency Secretariat, adding that none of the applicants has received any favourable response so far.

The Constituency Secretary therefore called on those behind what he described as a fabricated narrative to desist from spreading falsehoods that could undermine unity and trust within the party.

Mr. Tsoekeku reaffirmed his commitment to transparency and fairness, stressing that he remains dedicated to ensuring that opportunities for party members especially the youth are communicated clearly and equitably whenever they become available.

He further appealed to institutions and individuals responsible for employment and recruitment opportunities to recognise the critical role of the party’s grassroots, describing party members as the backbone of the NDC.

“If the omission of the Party Secretariat in recruitment and employment discussions concerning the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency is an oversight, I urge the providers of these opportunities to rectify this promptly,” he stated.

The statement concluded with a call for the timely release of employment and recruitment allocations to ensure that hardworking party members in the constituency are adequately represented in upcoming recruitment cycles.

Attention: All Party Members and Stakeholders in the Dome-Kwabenya NDC

Hello fellow Comrades,

My attention has been drawn to rumours circulating among party faithful in Dome-Kwabenya NDC that I am misappropriating supposed employment and recruitment slots meant for members of our Party in the constituency.

Those spreading this lie allege that Hon. Joseph Yammin, the National Organiser of the Party, confided in them that all constituencies, including Dome-Kwabenya have consistently received employment and other recruitment allocations through their Constituency Secretary/Secretariat.

I wish to state emphatically that as of today, apart from some four (4) scholarship opportunities that GAR Chairmen and Secretaries specifically lobbied for some members of the party for which the application process was passed through the Constituency Secretary/Secretariat, I have NEVER received any recruitment or employment slots from any individual or employment/recruitment authority. Even with the scholarships, to the best of my knowledge, none of the applicants has received any favourable response yet.

I, therefore, wish to implore the people behind this fabricated and malicious lie to desist from such unhealthy and backward behaviour.

I understand the dedication of our members and remain committed to ensuring that opportunities for our members, particularly the youth, are communicated clearly and fairly.

I wish to respectfully remind those in charge of these opportunities that our members are the backbone of this party.

If the omission of the Party Secretariat in these recruitment and employment discussions relating to the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency is an oversight, I will want to urge the providers of these slots to rectify this promptly. It is vital that our loyal members feel supported and included in these opportunities.

We look forward to receiving the necessary allocations to ensure our hardworking base is well-represented in the upcoming employment and recruitment cycles.

Thanks for your attention, Comrades.

THOMAS DODZI TSOEKEKU

(Constituency Secretary)
