The Paediatric and Child Health Sub-BMC of the Ho Teaching Hospital (HTH) has held its End-of-Year Performance Review for 2025, bringing together unit heads and key stakeholders to assess the department’s performance and outline strategic priorities for the coming year.

The review session was led by the Head of Department, Dr. Selorm Tsrakasu, who provided a comprehensive platform for the various units under the Sub-BMC to present annual data, clinical outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives undertaken throughout the year.

Also present at the meeting was the Director of Planning, Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (RPPME), Simon Dzokoto, whose participation underscored the hospital’s commitment to data-driven decision-making and institutional accountability.

The review highlighted notable milestones in paediatric and child health services delivered in 2025, including improved outcomes in preterm care, enhanced engagement with families, and stronger multidisciplinary collaboration among healthcare professionals.

Participants also discussed strategic plans for 2026, focusing on sustaining the gains made, addressing identified gaps, and advancing the department’s mission of delivering equitable and quality healthcare to every child.

The exercise reaffirmed the Sub-BMC’s resolve to continuously learn from past experiences while strengthening paediatric care delivery at Ho Teaching Hospital.
