Ho Municipal Assembly Receives GIFEC Equipment to Improve Network Connectivity

The Ho Municipal Assembly has taken delivery of Radio Transmission Point (RTP) equipment from the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications to address network connectivity challenges in parts of the municipality.

The intervention is expected to improve communication and digital access in communities including Akoefe, Tokokoe, Hodzo, Avee, and Lume.
Hon. Stephen Adom, Municipal Chief Executive for Ho, said the initiative forms part of efforts to bridge the digital divide and enhance connectivity across underserved areas.
He noted that improved network access would support socio-economic development by facilitating better communication, access to information, and digital services.
Hon. Adom reaffirmed the Assembly’s commitment to working with relevant stakeholders to expand digital infrastructure and promote inclusive development within the municipality.
The project aligns with ongoing national efforts to extend telecommunications services to rural and hard-to-reach communities across the country.
