Hearts of Oak forward, Hamza Issah is set to leave Ghana today for South Africa, where he has been invited by Siwelele Football Club for an assessment. The South African club will evaluate his performance and potentially conduct a medical examination as part of the process.

In a leaked invitation letter cited by AwakeNews, Issah is expected to undergo thirty (30) days of assessment, and he is booked to travel from 15th February to 17th March, 2026.

The letter revealed that Hamza Issah was scouted by Prosport International, who recommended him to the club. It added that the club will handle his travel arrangements, and he will stay in one of their rented apartments throughout the assessment period.
The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) approved the termination of Hamza Issah, clearing the way for his immediate transfer to Siwelele Football Club.
The decision follows months of salary disputes between the 23-year-old forward and present club Hearts of Oak.
He is expected to leave the shores of Ghana today, February 15, to complete the move to the Bloemfontein-based outfit. Issah initiated termination proceedings in December 2025 after reportedly going unpaid for three consecutive months.
However, Hearts are reportedly making last-minute efforts to feature Issah in today’s Super Clash against Asante Kotoko at the Bab Yara Sports Stadium before he leaves for South Africa.
