fake drugs 1The Ghana Union of Traders Association (GUTA) has called on government and other stakeholders to take actions against foreigners who infiltrate fake drug in the market.

According to them, there are some sales of fake anti-malaria drugs on [ads1]the market by some foreign invaders.

GUTA after a thorough investigation and evidence to attest to the fact petitioned the FDA and other stakeholders about the issue but has not experienced any serious step by the FDA to curb this dangerous menace out of the system.

According to them, these same foreigners are doing door to door fake drug retail business.

“These foreigners usually troop from house to house ( door to door retail business ) where they supply their products”.

“It’s been many years now when these foreigners have been going contrary to the trader’s act which speculates that foreign traders only have the right to do wholesale business even after declaring some amount of money and employing some number of Ghanaians”.

They therefore call on government and other stakeholders to take action before the menace get out of hands
