The Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) proudly announces the election of its Managing Director, Ms. Abena Amoah, to the Board of the International Capital Market Association (ICMA).

This historic milestone makes Ms. Amoah the first West African to join the ICMA Board, reinforcing the region’s capital markets’ growing global influence.

Her appointment acknowledges decades of leadership in financial market development across the region and aligns with ICMA’s focus on inclusivity and engagement with emerging and frontier markets.

The ICMA Board is composed of leaders from top global capital market institutions and offers strategic guidance on advancing sustainable and efficient market practices.
