The government has opened up the Seglemi Housing project to seven (7) potential developers for inspection of the long-stalled Project.
In April, the Ministry of Works and Housing announced that it was receiving proposals from private-sector investors to complete the Saglemi Housing project. It has been revealed that seven developers, four foreign and three local have commenced on-site inspection.
The developers are led by the existing Saglemi Housing project consultants and the representatives of the Ministry of Works and Housing.
Also, the Ministry has contracted an independent evaluation entity to submit a report on the selection of the most suitable developer for the project. The ministry promised to publish bids, evaluation reports and details of the final selection process.
