Youth activist Kwame Taste, has taken to his Facebook page to remind the Member of Parliament for Ketu South Constituency, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, of the category of the population that contributed to her 92.89% victory at the December 7, 2024 polls.
In the touch message to the Tourism Minister, marking the 1st anniversary of her victory, Kwame said:
“On the 7th December, The Citizens Of Ketu South Voted For You Massively With 92.89% Win, and I Know You Are Really Aware Of Their Massive Love And Vote They Gave You. On the 8th December, The Citizens Of Ketu South Were At Your House, Crowded And Jubilating With You Massively…”
He reminded the MP that among the hundreds of people who rallied behind her were “Okada Riders, Hustlers, Traders, Slayqueens, school drop-outs, smokers, single and neglected mothers, widows, less privileged, unemployed graduates.” urging her never to disappoint them once again.
“Please, it’s a privilege that you’re in parliament once again for Ketu South, so please kindly never let us down or disappoint us for the second time ….” – Kwame said.
Dzifa Gomashie is in parliament for the second term after having served as Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts between 2013 and 2017. She is currently serving as the substantive Minister of the same ministry since February 2025.
