Gertrude Emefa Donkor, Managing Director, GoldBod Jewellry Ltd

The state-owned GoldBod Jewellery Limited has launched Ghana’s first 24-hour digital gold showroom, giving customers across the world instant access to Ghana’s finest handcrafted gold pieces and investment tablets.

Managing Director, Gertrude Emefa Donkor said the new e-commerce platform, jewellery.goldbod.gov.gh, marks a bold step in ending Ghana’s long history of exporting raw gold only to import finished jewellery.

She noted that GoldBod’s retooled operations now focus on transforming Ghana’ gold into world-class products made entirely by Ghanaian artisans.

Established as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board, GoldBod Jewellery is Ghana’s leading name in fine gold, diamonds, other precious minerals and stones.

The company designs, crafts, and markets elegant pieces made from the purest gold mined right here on Ghanaian soil.

“Our collections blend traditional artistry with modern design, incorporating rich Ghanaian symbolism such as Adinkra motifs alongside world-class craftsmanship. Each piece tells a story of heritage, beauty, and excellence.”
