The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has issued an urgent alert to the public, warning against a fraudulent recruitment portal, GOLERNERSHUB.COM, which falsely claims to be conducting a protocol recruitment exercise on behalf of the Service.

In a press release dated Monday, June 2, 2025, the GIS firmly denied any association with the website and stressed that no official recruitment exercise is currently underway. The Service emphasized that it has not authorized any individual, group, or third-party platform to sell recruitment or protocol forms.

“No official clearance has been given by the Government for any recruitment exercise at this time,” the GIS stated.

When authorized, recruitment will be publicly announced through credible national channels, including official GIS platforms and national newspapers, ensuring transparency and fairness.

To combat the scam, GIS noted that its Intelligence Section is working closely with other state security agencies to investigate the source of the fraudulent site and bring those responsible to justice.

In a firm caution, the GIS urged the public to avoid any dealings with GOLERNERSHUB.COM or similar unverified platforms. Any individual who proceeds to engage with such sites does so at their own risk, the statement warned.

The GIS reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining the integrity of its recruitment processes and encouraged the public to verify any recruitment-related information through official contacts.
