Mr. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, the Presidential Envoy in charge of Interfaith and Ecumenical Bodies has affirmed the long standing partnership between the Republic of Ghana and Germany
Speaking at the “50 Years of Ghanaian–German Development Cooperation” commemoration on behalf Mr. Julius Debrah, Chief of Staff of Ghana, Mr. Ankrah said “Ghana and Germany stand as committed partners, working together to address some of the most pressing challenges of our time—climate change, youth unemployment, migration, peace and security in the West African sub-region, and the strengthening of democratic institutions.”
The former Youth and Sports Minister noted German’s assistance has contributed meaningfully to Ghana’s nation building efforts through institutions such as the GIZ, PFW Development Bank, Goethe-Institute among other civil society and private sector partners.
For five decades, our partnership has stood on the pillars of trust, shared values, and a bold commitment to progress — from renewable energy and skills development to governance reforms, digital innovation, and peace and security in our sub-region
