Ghana @62: Let’s be thankful for the many blessings – Mahama to Ghanaians

2020 Flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama has charged Ghanaians to be grateful to God for the “many blessings”.

According to him, though Ghana isn’t where it is supposed to be, “let us continue to thank God for how far he has brought us, as a country”.

The former President said this in his 62nd Independence Anniversary message.

He reminded citizens of the sacrifices of Ghana’s first leader, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah in winning independence for the country and why he deserves to be celebrated.

“Our county’s Founder, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, deserves on this day to be celebrated not denigrated for his tireless leadership that brought us independence 62 years ago,” Mahama averred.
