GES Release CSSPS Text for the Verification of School Choices by 2022 BECE CANDIDATES.

Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to inform students, staffs, parents/guardians and stakeholders that this year’s school placements exercise begins with the verification of students’ school choices from January 14, 2023 to January 22, 2023.

This was confirmed in a press release by GES headquarters with a reference number GES/PR/RELEASE/87 and signed by Cassandra Twum Ampofo, Head, Public Relation Unit.
The verification process is to ensure accuracy in students’ choice information before they are placed in their selected Second Cycle Schools.
According to the statement, students/guardians are expected to receive an SMS message from Compurized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) which contains web portal: https://csspsverify.com and USSD short code number *899*88# with four digit token number.
Also students who may have errors in their initial selection should call 0556541525 or click on the edit button available on the web portal after their initial selection details display with a copy of their original selection form.
Students can also send a copy of their original selection form to cssps2021@gmail.com.
The statement ended by noting that this exercise is NOT to change schools but to confirm initial choices selected.
