The long awaiting recruitment of newly qualified teachers from the various Colleges of Education in the country by the Ghana Education Service is set to kick start by December 31, 2021.
Most newly qualified teachers from the 46 colleges of education in the country who have undergone a mandatory national service, have passed the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination and completed College successfully without any referrals are to submit an online application together with the necessary documents to their employer’s website (www.gespromotion.gov.gh) before or on December 31, 2021.
In a letter released by the Ghana Education Service on Thursday December 2, 2021, the applicants must be ready to be posted to work at wherever their services are needed.
It emphasized that applicants to be considered for posting are only those newly qualified teachers from the 46 Colleges of Education who completed in 2020.
Most newly qualified teachers from the 46 Colleges of Education were in dilemma with regards to posting into the service since the issues of employment and chocked government payroll has arisen.
The 2020 badge of teachers from the 46 Colleges of Education shall be the last set of Diploma graduates in the system with the introduction of Bachelor’s Degree program into the Colleges of Education in 2019 by the Government of Ghana.
