GES announced new date for WASSCE 2024 Exams.

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced a new date for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), for School Candidates (SC) .

In a letter dated March 12, 2024 copied to awakenewsroom.com, the new date is August 5 – September 27, 2024 for WASSCE (SC).

GES indicated that, the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), for School Candidates (SC) circulated to the schools has been revised and that the new date (August 5 – September 27, 2024 for WASSCE (SC)) supersedes the former date (July 1 – August 31, 2024 for WASSCE (SC)) communicated to the school.

Regional Directors of Education were instructed to disseminate this vital information to the Metro/District/Municipal Directors of Education for onward communication to all heads of Senior High Schools to take note of the new date and prepare the candidates for the examination accordingly.
