Accra, Aug. 2, GNA – The Fosu Family has warned the public against posting derogatory claims about the late iconic Ghanaian artist Charles Kwadwo Fosu, a.k.a. Daddy Lumba.
According to a statement signed by Fati Ali Yallah, Counsel for the Fosu Family, the family is aware of certain allegations circulating on social media that seek to dent Daddy Lumba’s reputation.
“In the spirit of transparency and dignity, all such persons with genuine and verifiable claims against the late Daddy Lumba are respectfully invited to submit such claims to the lawyers of the Fosu Family and such claims will be resolved amicably.
“We also serve notice and caution all individuals or media outlets who continue to publish defamatory, unverified or misleading content about the the late Daddy Lumba to desist from such acts or will be held legally accountable,” the statement said.
It also urged the public to act with respect as the nation mourns one of its biggest musical icons and prepare for his final funeral rites.
